Ford Heights is seeing success across winter and spring sports. From basketball to volleyball, to track and field, there is a lot to celebrate. The Seventh Grade Boys Basketball team won the regional and sectional championships this past season. The team made it to state and finished with a 17-2 record. Sheldon Cantu, was awarded the IESA Regional Sportsmanship award. Jayden Wallace was awarded the IESA Sectional Sportsmanship award.
The Seventh Grade Girls Volleyball team went 14-0 this season but lost in the first round of the regionals. They worked hard as a team and learned so much over their season. Boys and Girls Track competed in their first meet in April. FHSD#169 is very excited about our track team with much promising young talent.
FHSD is extremely proud of their student athletes for all their hard work and dedication this season. Panther Nation is excited about the future of athletics at Cottage Grove.
