The faculty and staff of Medgar Evers Primary Academic Center are committed to serving all students. We will provide educational and social opportunities in a safe and nurturing environment which will lead students toward being disciplined, productive, and informed citizens.
Each student will receive standards based instruction directed toward mastery of skills and experiences necessary to meet the demands of a rapidly changing society. Our goal is that all Pre-k -grade 4 students will score at or above grade level on high stakes assessments as well as perform at the meet /exceed level on the Illinois Standards Achievement Test.
It is the intent of the faculty and staff to aid our school citizens in becoming self-sufficient individuals who possess the academic and social skills necessary to succeed in our school as well as at the upper grade and high school levels. At Medgar Evers, each student is honored as an individual. We strive to instill the importance of positive self-image. Students are encouraged to respond to learning experiences through personal initiative, resourcefulness, and responsibility.
We continue to actively pursue ways to strengthen the partnership with parents and the community as we work collaboratively to improve and enhance the educational process.
