Welcome to Cottage Grove Upper Grade Center

                                                   Mrs. Stephanie Stephen, Principal
We are approaching the last stretch of the 2010-2011 school year. State and local testing have been completed and we look forward to the activities that signal we are on the way to the culmination of another school year. As previously demonstrated, school administrators, teachers, students, and parents have worked diligently to focus our energy on teaching and learning. To each of you, I say thanks for your continued cooperation as we work toward end of year activities.
We encourage each of you to continue assisting us with staying on course as there is still a great deal of work to do and a tremendous amount of learning to take place. We can see the 2010-2011 finish line, but we are not there yet. Parents continue, as you always have, to urge your son/daughter to stay the course. We don't want to lose ground in the upcoming weeks.
Stephanie Stephen, Principal

We welcome you to the school and ask that you work with your son or daughter in the following ways:

1. Make certain that child is in attendance and punctual daily.

2. Check and sign homework assignments.

3. Send children to school in designated school uniform.

4. Encourage your son/daughter to refrain from creating disruptions in the learning process.

5. Emphasize to your child the importance of reading books for the 25 Book Campaign.

Every day of school is important therefore, we again remind our students that they must arrive, daily, focused on practicing our guiding principles:

Be Respectful                                    Be Responsible                                   Be Safe                                        Be a Leader
